Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Information Technology, the Manager, Technology Services, manages the day-to-day operations and support activities for the computer data center including minicomputer systems and all ancillary hardware and software supporting the District's Administrative Enterprise Resource (ERP) applications. Recommend, develop, and administer standards, controls, policies and procedures in support of operations, database administration and systems programming staff.
Applications are currently being accepted for Manager, Technical Services in District's Information Technology Data Center located on the Miramar College campus. Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. However, selected candidates must be willing to adjust work days/hours as directed based on the department's needs. Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor. Major Responsibilities:Qualifications:Desired Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of infrastructure support of the Oracle PeopleSoft environment (e.g. PeopleTools, PUM applies, code migrations, tracing, etc.) and Oracle database systems and tools (OEM, RMAN, backup/recovery, etc.).Knowledge:
Applicable information technology systems in assigned area of responsibility.

Work with diverse academic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff.Licenses:Pay Information:
Range 16 ($8,130.06- $ 13,003.86) per month based on the current Management Salary Schedule.
Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the Management Employees Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and may not accrue overtime.
